DREAM CAST
First of all, I wanted to thank My Midnight
Fantasies for share my dream cast with you for my book, The Angel Killer. Thank
you for letting me dream a little… or should I say dream BIG? And then share
those dreams with you.
One of the most fun things about writing a
dream cast, is that there are no budget limitations. You can also choose actors
who may be a little older than the characters they play.
When The Watcher first came out, I
mentioned that I’d love to see Mia played by a younger Emelia Clarke. I liked
her look. She’s a talented actor, who’s beautiful in a really natural way. She
also has a deep intelligence in her eyes.
For Michael, I’d love to see a younger
Henry Cavill. Since we see some of his darker past in The Angel Killer, I was
thinking of something like this:
For Arielle, the kickass angelic warrior
who’s Michael’s sponsor, I’d pick French actress, Nora Arnezeder:
Turiel
was difficult to cast for. Just about any actor who played him would have to
change make his hair silver. In my mind, he would look something like this
Zadkiel was an easy choice. He’s a fierce
and intense warrior who would be played by Djimon Hounsou:
Rhys is lean and wiry with red hair and a wry sense of humor. He would be played by a younger Paul Bettany:
And Raguel, as intense and evil as he is,
would be played by Michael Fassbender:
A Canadian-born author, Lisa Voisin spent her childhood daydreaming and making up stories, but it was her love of reading and writing in her teens that drew her to Young Adult fiction.
Lisa also leads a writing group for teens in North Vancouver, works as a technical writer, and teaches meditation. Her debut YA novel, The Watcher, won the Chanticleer award for best paranormal fiction.
A self-proclaimed coffee lover, she can usually be found writing in a local café. When she's not writing, you'll find her hiking in the mountains to counteract the side effects of drinking too much caffeine!
Though she’s lived in several cities across Canada, she currently lives in Vancouver, B.C. with her fiancé and their two cats.
