Review: The Lux Series... so far

Obsidian (Lux, #1)

When we moved to West Virginia right before my senior year, I'd pretty much resigned myself to thick accents, dodgy internet access, and a whole lot of boring.... until I spotted my hot neighbor, with his looming height and eerie green eyes. Things were looking up.

And then he opened his mouth.

Daemon is infuriating. Arrogant. Stab-worthy. We do not get along. At all. But when a stranger attacks me and Daemon literally freezes time with a wave of his hand, well, something...unexpected happens.

The hot alien living next door marks me.

You heard me. Alien. Turns out Daemon and his sister have a galaxy of enemies wanting to steal their abilities, and Daemon's touch has me lit up like the Vegas Strip. The only way I'm getting out of this alive is by sticking close to Daemon until my alien mojo fades.

If I don't kill him first, that is.

Onyx (Lux, #2)   Opal (Lux, #3)

Origin (Lux, #4)

My Review

I am obsessed  with this series! I can't believe it took me so long to read these books. I read the first 3 in 4 days & when Origin came out about a month later, I read that one in one day; it was that good. It's the best one to date. I love Daeman's determination to save Katy and protect her when everything goes bad. Their personalities are very stubborn, lol; they don't like to back down.

Each book has it's own wonders and uniqueness that's why I love them all. One of the best series I've read. I love the author, she is so descriptive throughout the books and the characters are one of a kind. I feel a re-read coming on. I loved Daemon even more in Origin. It was written in dual perspectives and I enjoyed that aspect because I got a view into Daemon's head; his passion for protecting Katy. I felt like that was very admirable.
As for the author, I have read her other books and I love them all. And the guy on the covers is so smoking hot I'd read the books solely on that aspect but that's not why I read them, I knew they were going to be awesome. So I am anxiously awaiting the next book.
