Q: Is there a song that reminds you of a book? Or vice versa? What is the song & the book?
I love this question. In my Twilight days I used to listen to the soundtrack of it in my car. I love listening to it because I would replay the movie back in my head, all the songs with their correspondent scenes. It was the only CD in my car ever. I didn't get the soundtracks to the other movies because I did not get that much into it, but I still watched all the movies. I think that a movie's soundtrack is so important! I remember being so wrapped up in all the songs and I thought they were a perfect fit, I still think so. I really loved the book and having the soundtrack I just thought there was more to love.

If you enjoyed the movie you will also like the soundtrack. I feel like it somehow blended so well, the songs to the movie. Thanks for stopping by and for following. I'm heading over to your blog now :)

Thanks for stopping by and following. Sorry to hear that you didn't enjoy the question, I'm not really a music person. I listen to it only in my car.
DeleteI wasn't a fan of the Twilight movie but the sound track for the first one was very good. I still listen to it once in a while :)

Thanks for dropping by and following. The movie wasn't that great but the soundtrack was awesome. The book was a lot better as all books are.
DeleteI loved the soundtrack to the first Twilight movie! It was the only one I ever brought, and I still listen to it now and then. It has such a great compilation of music on it, that really suited the book. Plus I love Robert Pattinson's voice, it has a kind of haunting-ness to it. lol.
ReplyDeleteAnyway thanks for stopping by my blog :)

Thanks for stopping by and following. Yeah I think the songs matched the story perfectly! I also love Rob!
DeleteYes! I thought the soundtracks really matched up well with the books. And they introduced me to some really great new bands!

Yeah I know what you mean, I didn't know who some of the artists were in that album. Thanks for stopping by & following, I'm heading to your blog now :)
DeleteI can't think of any songs that remind me of a book. I don’t connect music to books, and I usually read in quiet.

Happy Reading! :)
I couldn't think of any either because I like to read in silent as well, no distraction. The soundtrack was the only answer I could come up with because I'm not much of a music person. I knew the answer right away because it's the only book I can connect to music.
DeleteThanks for stopping by and following, going to your blog now.
I really think Stephenie Meyer and Twilight has led to a lot more authors publishing their playlists for the books they write. I'm a huge fan of movie soundtracks, but mostly from the 80's. Twilight is one that I own though!

Thanks for stopping by my blog, it's nice to see another Midnight blogger! ;)
Thanks for stopping by and following. Twilight is the only movie soundtrack I have, I got it when I needed to have everything Twilight and I still love it I haven't seen anyone else with a midnight name so far, so I guess it's just you and me :)
DeleteNew Follower! Hmm, I'll have to check the soundtrack out!
ReplyDeletePlease do and let me know how you like it. Thanks for stopping by and following, I'm heading to your blog now.
DeleteI have all the soundtracks of the Twilight movies except the last one but my favorite will always be the first. Also love the soundtrack of The Hunger Games because it fits so well!

Thanks for stopping by and following. I had not had a movie affect me quite like Twilight, so the soundtrack took it a little bit further for me. I just saw the Hunger Games movie and I have to say I wasn't wowed by it so I'm probably not going to read the books.
DeleteI actually like movie scores more than the actual soundtracks. Great when you're reading a book too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by and following. Yeah it's nice when you can experience different things with one theme like a book with a movie adaptation.
DeleteI loved the Linkin Park song from the Twilight soundtrack!

I love them as well, one sings and the other is more rock I love that! Thanks for stopping by and following :)
DeleteSongs are such an important part of a movie, without them you don't get the right feelings evoked sometimes by scenes.

DeleteAhhh, Twilight. I never actually watched the movie or listened to the soundtrack, but I have read all of the books, most of them wayyyy before the movies came out. I'm an original reader :D

That's awesome, I read the books immediately after I saw the movie. Thanks for stopping by & for following.
DeleteI really enjoyed the soundtrack, but I can't say it took me back much. I guess it's because I only saw the movie once or twice. Thanks for stopping by!

There are so many book to movie adaptations coming out like The Mortal Instruments which I'm so excited for & I'll probably get the soundtrack for that one.
